June was a crazy hot month! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. I love summer, and I love everything that comes with the season: the heat, the fresh fruits, the long days, the summer clothes ❤️
There’s just one problem with hot weather: I can’t play around too much with my make-up, because I always feel like it’s melting 😃 And I can’t wear waterproof products every day at the office, so I have to work with what I got.
In June I used just a couple of products, to help me achieve a fresh and glowy look. Some skincare essentials + a couple of make-up items, to look natural, cover up any imperfections and enhance my features.
So yeah, these were the top 7 most used products in June for me.
1. Elmiplant Pure Moisture Mineral Water
This mineral water from Elmiplant is a must-have in the hot summer days. I use it all the time after I finish my make-up, to set everything in place. And I also use it at night, after taking off my make-up, to hydrate and soothe the skin. Sometimes I keep it in the refrigerator, for an extra boost of freshness.
2. Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate
Ever since I started using this daily serum, my skin looks much better and softer. So I use it every morning, after washing my face, and before using a moisturizer. It smells great, it gets absorbed into the skin pretty fast, and it makes the foundation glide on smoothly on the skin.
It’s one of my favorite skincare products from Kiehl’s, and I usually pair it with the Ultra Facial Cream.
3. Gerovital Tinted Face Sun Cream SPF 50
I just did a review about this face sun cream last week, so you can read more details there. But I have to say I’ve used it almost daily last month, because it has SPF 50, it provides UVA and UVB protection and it’s perfect to even up the skin color.
4. Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer (005 Light Natural)
High coverage, thick texture, perfect shade, great price. That’s how I would describe the Liquid Camouflage Concealer from Catrice. I used it all month, and it’s perfect for covering up any dark circles. And it also helps conceal any other spots or pimples. The only bad thing is that it tends to crease under the eyes, even if you don’t apply too much.
5. Benefit Watt’s Up Cream Highlighter
I rediscovered this highlighter earlier last month, so I started using it a lot. It gives a really nice and natural glow, it’s creamy and easy to apply, and it has a really subtle champagne shade. I would say it’s perfect for any season, but especially for summer!
6. Sleek Blush (Rose Gold)
I love to have rosy cheeks, so a blush is a must-have for the majority of my make-up looks. I think this one from Sleek is my fave’, because it’s very flattering, pigmented, long-lasting and it makes me look fresh and healthy.
7. Oriflame The One 5-in-1 Wonder Lash Mascara
This mascara is too underrated! The Wonder Lash Mascara makes my lashes long, black and voluminous, and it doesn’t clump or flake. One coat is enough for daily use, and if you want long gorgeous lashes, you need to use two coats.
The wand has two sides: the first one, with short bristles, is perfect for coating the roots, to give texture and work as a base for the lashes; the other one, with longer bristles, will give you length and volume. Let me know if you want a review for this product, because I swear it’s fantastic. And super affordable, btw.
So these were the products I used the most last month, and that I’ll probably use in July as well. They all help me look great in the summer heat.
As you can see, I rarely wear any lipstick or eyeliner anymore, only on special events. And that’s because I tend to pick only products that can help me get a natural make-up look, that won’t melt and that is comfortable to wear.
Have you tried any of these products? What products did you use the most in June?
Make sure you don’t miss any new updates!
