Hi lovelies! It’s finally Spring and I couldn’t be happier. Surrounded by pastels, flowers, sunshine and joy, I feel like I’m now ready for a fresh start – it’s definitely one of the best times of the year.

My favorite way to welcome the spring season (besides hiding all the winter coats and turtlenecks) is to get a brand new bright nail polish color.

This year it’s a pink one. So predictable, I know. My wild guess is that I won’t get bored of this color too soon, so bare with me until I’ll get to the next obsession (yellow maybe? not sure).

The star of this post is an Avon Gel Shine nail polish, called “Parfait Pink” (also, my first Avon nail polish ever – I found it in a goodie bag after attending The Woman).

What I say:

It’s a beautiful fuchsia with gel-like finish, that lasts a lot on my nails – after 6-7 days, it still looks great, even if I don’t apply a top coat. It’s shiny and bold, so your nails cannot go unnoticed when wearing it. Also, you need a single coat to get great coverage and a vivid color.

It’s easy to apply due to the awesome brush applicator (and easy to remove as well). Also, it dries off pretty fast, so I can get my nails done in 10 minutes. I would say it’s perfect for the busy-bees that don’t have much time for this sort of activity (and to be honest… who does?)

I noticed it’s very similar to the nail polishes I have from Yves Rocher, and they both fit in the same price range.
