Hi lovelies! I know it’s a bit too soon, but I wanted to wish you an amazing new year! I hope 2017 will be filled with joy, happiness and unforgettable moments. And I would like to thank you for being here and supporting me in my blogging journey, it really means a lot to me!

Honestly, I can’t believe 2016 is over. It’s been one hell of an year, both good and bad for me, but I want to focus on the good this time. I finally got the chance to visit London, I received the world’s greatest gift (a puppy), I met a lot of new amazing people and I learned many new things.

But I’m very excited for 2017, and I’m ready for a fresh new start. New year, new me? Not necessarily, although there are plenty of changes coming up for me very soon. I just hope they all work out well.

And yeah, of course, I want to go running more often, eat less pizza and read more books, because these few things would help me live a better life. Sooo, wish me luck!

So, let’s talk about the NYE party! I don’t have any fancy plans for New Year’s Eve, I’ll probably spend the night at home with my boyfriend and my puppy, playing around and enjoying each other’s company.

But I know that everyone wants to look their best on New Year’s Eve, so I decided to show you a quick and easy make-up look that you can wear regardless of the location (at a fancy restaurant, at home, in a club or at a cabin in the woods with your friends) or the outfit you pick.

I think you can’t go wrong with the classic pin-up look. This will be always on trend and it looks gorgeous on any complexion. And even if it’s super easy to do, it looks like you did put some effort into it. It’s a classy, elegant, flattering and feminine make-up look.

The main idea of this look is to pair thin winged eyeliner with bright red lips. You can also add some blush and highlighter, to enhance the final look. And define the eyes with some neutral shades of brown and golden, for a festive touch.

I know that dark smokey eyes and glitter are the top choices for a NYE make-up look, but not everybody feels comfortable wearing so much make-up at once, even if it’s just for one night. So I really hope this look will inspire you, and that you will try to recreate it.
