On My Wishlist: Make-up Brands I’d Love To Try

I spend way too much time reading beauty blogs and watching YouTube videos. So it’s no surprise that I started adding a lot of products on my wishlist, used and hyped a lot by the most popular beauty gurus of the world.

But of course, most of these make-up brands are really expensive or don’t ship out to Romania, so they’ll probably stay on my wishlist for a little while longer. I still find it difficult to spend a huge amount of money for a brush or for a simple bronzer, no matter how pretty it is. But I’m always keeping up with the new releases and pressing the “heart” button on their Instagram pictures :))

Oh well, if you’re as passionate as I am, let’s talk about these amazing brands that have a massive coverage all over social media. And let me know if you tried any of these brands before, and which ones do you recommend!

On My Wishlist Make-up Brands I'd Love To Try

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills

I want the contouring palette, the glow kits, the brow pomade, the liquid lipsticks. Oh my god, the list is huge. All the cool make-up artists and beauty vloggers are using these products. And everybody has only good things to say about them.

I honestly love the story of the brand, and I admire Anastasia’s evolution, working alongside her daughter to create this massive beauty empire. And they have the most followed Instagram page (with over 10 million followers), compared to other make-up brands.

2. Zoeva

I don’t know much about the brand itself, but I know that the products have a gorgeous design! I’d love to have all the brushes and palettes and lipsticks, please. Especially all the rose gold brushes! (A girl can only dream, right?)

And I have to say, their feed is more than perfect. If I could keep a theme on Insta (which I can’t, sorry guys), I would want it to look like this.

3. ColourPop

They describe themselves as “Beauty for cool kids”. Sounds legit to me! This US brand has a wide range of beautiful make-up products, used by all the cool kids on Instagram and YouTube (like Chloe Morello, Kathleen Lights or LustreLux).

They recently announced they will also ship to Europe, which is great news. I want to try the liquid lipsticks, I’ve heard the quality is amazing, for a quite affordable price. Also, their highlighters are more than beautiful.

4. Kat Von D

She’s a bad-ass controversial figure, and I love her. So I’m really curious about her make-up line. I’d love to try the foundations and the tattoo liner, most of all.

5. Too Faced

Well, I could easily get some Too Faced products from Sephora, because it is available in Romania as well. But I haven’t yet, because they are quite expensive.

I’d love to have the new Sweet Peach palette, because it has the most beautiful colors ever. Also, I want to try the Born This Way foundation and concealer, and of course, the Sweethearts Blush.

6. Milani

I have no idea how to put my hands on some of these products. The brand is pretty affordable, but I think they don’t ship to Romania, so that’s why I haven’t placed an order yet. But I’m in love with their lip liners, baked blushes and bronzing powder.

There are also some internet-famous brands that haven’t really caught my attention. These are mostly the controversial ones: Lime Crime, Jeffree Star, Gerard Cosmetics, Becca. I have some mixed feelings about them for the moment, so they didn’t make it to my wishlist (just yet).

YOUR TURN: So, what do you think about my list? Did you try any of these brands before? Which ones are your favorite and what products do you recommend?

    1. Hello Beatrice!
Kisses

    1. Hello Irina! It is possible, I guess some of them might be so popular on social media, that we give them more credit than they deserve. But I still want to try them, just to see it for myself ✨ And Too Faced has such an awesome range of products, I think at least the eyeshadow palettes are worth the splurge ❤️

      1. I am surely getting one of those eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced in the future. I would suggest going in the store and trying them before actually buying them. I was this close on splurging on a Urban Decay concealer and when I tried it it changed color on me like I was an orange. And it was a really hyped product.
